A lot of my clients come to me during a challenging time. Perhaps they are settling a parent’s estate, or finally deciding it’s time to leave the home they raised their family in, or moving on from a marital home in a divorce. I’ve been on both sides of those situations. I sold the house that I grew up in, and I sold my marital home during a divorce. I understand what that process asks of a person, not just administratively but emotionally. I’m not here to rush or pressure my potential clients. I’m here to explain the Massachusetts selling processes clearly, tell you honestly what your property is worth as-is, and make sure you don’t leave money on the table.
I’ve been a licensed real estate agent since 2004, and a real estate investor for for over three decades. That order matters. Long before I helped my first client sell a home, I was buying, renovating, and managing property myself . At one point I owned eight properties, including a six-unit apartment building, all while converting a mixed-use property in East Boston into condos. In all, I have done nine fix and flips. I know what it costs to fix a roof, what a lowball investor offer really means, and what a property is worth even when it doesn’t show well.
I hold a Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS) and Certified Social Media Agent (CSMA) designation, and I’m licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I’ve been recognized as a RE/MAX Top Producer, named among the Top 50 Agents in Massachusetts by RE/MAX New England, and received the RE/MAX New England Agent of the Month and RE/MAX Executive Club for Outstanding Sales awards.
Before real estate, I earned an MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications/Advertising. In addition to my real estate investing background, I worked in higher education counseling students, and spent years in hospitality, all of which taught me how to listen, communicate clearly, and stay steady under pressure. Those skills show up every day in how I market a listing and how I guide a client through a hard decision.
If you’re thinking of making a move, I’d like to help. Reach out. There’s no pressure, just a conversation about your situation and your options.
